Biografie
George Edwards was born in Victoria and served in both the Royal Navy and the Royal Canadian Navy. Edwards served on both HMCS Rainbow and HMCS Niobe. He was an engine-man and Stoker Petty Officer.

The fonds consists of Royal Canadian Navy service records dating from 1894 to 1912, and Royal Canadian Naval Volunteer Reserve certificates dating from 1917 to 1919.
Also includes a letter of reference and volunteer sign-up sheet, demobilization certificate, station cards, and two postcards of unidentified people and objects.
